This is the moment a motorcycle rider suffered an embarrassing parking fail - crashing into a shop while picking up her helmet.

The hapless motorist was manoeuvring her motorbike out of the supermarket car park when her helmet rolled onto the ground in Prachinburi, Thailand, on June 7.

While grabbing the headgear, the lady's motorcycle then fell over onto its side. She picked it back up by its handlebars, causing the two-wheeler to suddenly accelerate and propel her forward.

CCTV Footage shows how the rider was dragged by the out-of-control vehicle, hitting a stack of shopping baskets before crashing into the glass walls of the minimart.

Residents helped her to her feet and she hurriedly left the shop's premises. However, the accident had left visible damage on the store's facade, including a piece of smashed wall and cracks on the glass windows. Property damage reportedly amounted to 7,000 THB (200 USD).

A minimart employee said the incident has been reported to the police, who will track the woman down for compensation for the damage.
