Indian Army officers and their canine companions took part in International Yoga Day (June 21).

Footage from Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, shows the officers performing a series of yoga stretches alongside their dogs.

These officers are part of the "silent warriors", a force that has earned respect within country's the armed forces.

Indian Army's 'Silent Warriors' along with their dogs were seen performing various 'asanas' on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2022 in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place in Poonch town of the eponymous district on June 21.

Visuals showed army men performing Yoga with dogs alongside them. The animals copied what the officers beside them did.

It has been learnt that these are the 'Silent Warriors' of the Indian army, who remain operationally ready to respond to any contingency and are always relied upon by soldiers during sensitive missions.

These brave, reliable, and indispensable force multipliers along with their handlers have earned a mark of respect and garnered a lot of appreciation in the Armed Forces.
