Panda Celebrates His Birthday In Nanning, Guangxi, China

A giant panda birthday party was held at nanning Zoo in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 27, 2022 to celebrate the sixth birthday of jimei and Jilan, a pair of giant pandas. A special cake made of bamboo leaves, watermelon, apples, strawberries and ice was prepared for the pandas.
The twins were born on June 27, 2016. Their father is Mei LAN, the first star giant panda in Chengdu to return from a trip to the United States, and their mother is Ji Li.
The zoo arrived in Nanning from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Southwest China's Sichuan province on December 13, 2019, and will officially meet visitors on January 15, 2020.
