A truck fell off a bridge leaving one person injured in Nottingham, UK, on July 4.

The vehicle crashed down an embankment on Lady Bay Bridge near Meadow Lane.

One man was sent to hospital and firefighters freed them.

A man is hospital this afternoon after a lorry he was in crashed off a bridge in Nottingham, UK. Lady Bay bridge near meadow lane was closed by police and fire and rescue as they tried to rescue the man. A recovery operation was then launched to recover the lorry which was seen on its side below the side of the bridge. A man who owned the lease for where the lorry landed said if it was not for his accountant his van would have been their with him like inside or at the side of it.
