Chinese father uses bamboo to build swimming pool for children
A father used sticks of bamboo to build a swimming pool for his children in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on July 19 shows children playing in a swimming pool formed by bamboo.
In another clip, the father named Yu used a three-wheeler and a car to transport the bamboo he cut to build a 3-metre-long, 2-metre-wide and 0.8-metre-deep swimming pool in the yard for his children.
According to Yu, he wanted to take his children to a public swimming pool as the temperature was high but he was worried about the long queues and hygiene.
