Guests saved the day at a wedding in Hue, Vietnam when high winds almost blew away a marquee being used for the event on 17 July.

Video showed men grabbing on to the poles supporting the structure, as winds caused by a tornado nearly blow it over.

After about 20 minutes, the meteorological close-shave passed, the wind died down and the wedding resumed.

The groom said he was surprised by the turn of events, though it certainly made for a memorable wedding!

According to the filmer, when they were attending the wedding of the bride and groom, suddenly a tornado appeared, causing strong winds that shook the whole wedding theater. The guests quickly approached the pillars supporting the wedding theater to keep the pillars still from shaking.
After about 20 minutes when the tornado passed the wedding was resumed. The guests said they tried to keep the theater from collapsing under the force of the winds.
The groom said he was surprised to see strong winds from the tornado. Without the help of the guests, his wedding would have been a failure. This is an unforgettable memory of his wedding.
