Footage shows flooding in Cornwall as heavy rainfall follows heatwave
Heavy rainfall bringing an end to the heatwave has caused huge flash floods. Traffic battled through a roundabout - which was no longer visible - in Truro, Cornwall, in a video. The Met Office issued an amber thunderstorm warning for areas of Cornwall and Devon. The video, filmed by Oliver Dobbs, shows the road still in use by a few brave drivers, last night (15). Passengers in the car can be heard saying "it's not good!" as they move through the deep floods.
