133 dams of Rajasthan state leaked, Milky water flowing after six gates opened of Mahi dam

The effect of good monsoon rains in Rajasthan has started showing on small, big and medium dams of the state. 64.88% i.e. 8180.61 M. cusec water has arrived in 738 dams in the state. According to the latest report of large and medium dams of Rajasthan, inflow of water has increased in most of the dams of the state. Water storage in 22 big dams in the state has increased from 34.25 percent to 73.85 percent. 50.87% water has come in 279 medium level dams of the state. While 39.51% water has come in 437 dams of small dams. Out of 716 medium and small dams in the state, 133 dams have been completely filled due to the torrential rains.
The largest Mahi Dam of Udaipur division in Rajasthan has become full. Six gates of the dam have been opened. Inflow of water from Pratapgarh and Madhya Pradesh is still continuing in the dam. After opening of gate of the dam, hundreds of people from the district came to see the Mahi dam. The water level of the dam at present is 279.90 meters and its filling capacity is 281.50 metres.
