Archaistic gateway moved 78 feet for subway construction in China
An archaistic Chinese gateway weighing over 600 tonnes has been shifted 24 metres (78 feet) for a subway's construction in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on August 25 shows workers using rollers placed underneath the skids to move the gateway.
According to reports, the gateway had been moved 24 metres in three days for the construction of Taiyuan Metro Line 1.
