This footage, filmed on September 5, shows police vans parked outside the Palais de Justice, the judicial center and courthouse in Paris, as eight suspects go on trial for the terrorist attack that took place in 2016 in Nice.

On July 14, 2016, 31-year-old Tunisian Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel drove into crowds of people during Bastille Day celebrations on the Promenade des Anglais before being shot dead by the police. 86 people lost their lives in the attack.

The eight suspects, seven men and one woman, are accused of a wide range of crimes including providing logistical support, supplying weapons and being aware of Lahouaiej-Bouhlel's intentions.

The trial will last until mid-December,
