A car drove across a suspended bridge as a 6.8-magnitude earthquake rocked southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the county of Luding in Sichuan Province on September 5 shows a car driving across Xingkang Bridge as it was shaking in the quake earthquake.

According to reports, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Luding County, killing at least 66 people.

Xingkang Bridge started to be built on September 1, 2014, and it was been completed on December 31, 2018.

The bridge's earthquake fortification intensity is 9 degrees (the highest level) and it can resist wind speeds between 73.15mph and 92.6 mph during typhoons.
