This Sunday, September 18, on the occasion of a new Paris car-free day (Paris sans voitures), the Fish Route is finalizing its last stage.

Originally, the Fish Route was imagined in 1991 to contribute to the promotion of draft horses. Following the fishmongers' route, drawn between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Paris, this relay of draft horses is one of the biggest European harness races.

After 10 years of absence, 12 teams each made up of 11 pairs of horses and 70 people meet in Boulogne-sur-Mer on Saturday 17 September. In total, they will travel 300 kilometers (taking turns every 15 kilometers) to arrive in Paris on Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning, the last stage of the competition consists of two highlights: the end of the race (35 horses) and the afternoon prestige parade (100 horses).
