Magnitude 6.8 earthquake shakes home in Mexico City
Footage shows lights shaking in a home as a magnitude 6.8 earthquake hit Mexico today.
Tremors were felt in Mexico City following the quake in Michoacan.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the 'major' earthquake hit at 1.16 am local time this morning. It struck around 20 kilometers below the surface, making it a shallow earthquake.
It comes just days after two people were killed and dozens were injured when a powerful earthquake hit the same region.
There were no tsunami threats reported.
