This is the amusing moment a clumsy youngster falls face-first into a rice paddy while biking across the countryside in Taiwan.

The boy was cycling with his aunt Zhou Datian when one of his training wheels fell off the road, sending him into a patch of rice plants on April 30.

The child was seen picking himself back up after stumbling while his guardian giggles at his carelessness following the cycling fail.

She said: 'He was not injured and did not even cry. The rice field was hardly damaged. We had so much fun.'
