Storm Fiona left behind significant damage after slamming into Nova Scotia, Canada, early on Saturday 24 September.

The storm, which was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone on Friday, made landfall with hurricane-force winds, washing houses into the sea, tearing the roofs off others, and knocking out power for hundreds of thousands of people in eastern Canada.

This video shows an uprooted tree and broken streetlights due to strong winds in Halifax.
