Pro-abortion rights protesters in Nantes, France gathered on Wednesday (September 28) to support American women who have had their healthcare access threatened with the repeal of Roe v. Wade before being interrupted by anti-abortion rights militants.

"As the crowd gathered before singing a feminist anthem, far right militants opposed to abortion tried to disturb the gathering by unveiling a banner that said "abortion=genocide" on a boat sailing on the river nearby. For a few minutes, these militants and their supporter on the dock denounced what they consider to be a crime. The protesters insulted them for a few minutes before one of them decided to jump in the water and successfully take down the banner, forcing the anti abortion militants to leave.
The gathering ended shortly after," the filmer said.
