A beagle sparks panic when it holds a knife in its mouth and plays tag with its owner.

The footage shows the naughty pooch named Pla-too wielding the sharp object as it sprints across the living room of their home in Samut Prakan province, Thailand.

Unaware of the potential danger, Pla-too bounds across the house, leaping onto furniture.

The couple finally manages to retrieve the knife after the dog drops it while jumping from a bed.

The man said: "We're not sure how our dog got the knife, but it was so scary. We were trying to calm him down".
