A video has emerged of a kayaker rescuing a dog that became tangled in river weeds in Perry, Michigan, US.

The footage, captured in late July, shows the dog caught and struggling in the water before being untangled and pulled aboard by the boater. He later said the dog was in a bad state, writing online: "When i finally got him unstuck i put him in my kayak and brought him to shore!

"He could not walk because he was to tired and frozen. The dog could hardly breathe or move so i carried him to a few houses, keeping him warm, to find the owner. I finally found the owner and returned him!"

Well i was fishing when i say a white figure far in the water. So i went up to it and relized it was a dog. I thought maybe he just jumped in but i noticed he was bloding from injesting to much water. He was tangeld in vines and weeds and could not touch. When i finally got him unstuck i put him in my kayak and brought him to shore! He could not walk because he was to tired and frozen. The dog could hardly breathe or move so i carried him to a few houses, keeping him warm, to find the owner. I finally found the owner and returned him!
