A Just Stop Oil climate activist gave a short speech about climate inaction outside an Aston Martin car shop on London's Park Lane, that the group had just covered with paint, on Sunday 16 October.

The action also involved protesters sitting down in the road outside, blocking lots of traffic on the usually busy road.

That drew angry responses from motorists and even a nearby cyclist that condemned what they considered selfish behaviour that did not advance their environmental cause.

Police quickly arrived to remove and arrest protesters.

The protester giving the speech outside the car shop had a stereotypically male voice but was wearing a dress, although it is not clear if they consider themselves transgender or whether their clothing was part of the protest.
