A bungling driver chased after her car when it rolled over as she left without pulling the handbrake.

CCTV footage shows the female motorist climbing out of her sedan and checking under the car before it moved backwards in Nakhon Sawan province, Thailand.

Driver Som Vannisa ran after the out-of-control vehicle which only stopped upon hitting a roadside ditch.

Som said she pulled the handbrakes to check on her tires, but she might have done it incorrectly.

She said: ‘I knew I pulled the handbrake, but I think it was not proper, I should have pulled harder. It served me a lesson.'

Fortunately, the road was not busy, and no one was hurt during the incident.

The driver had to take her sedan to a mechanic to have the dents and scratches fixed.
