A lady farmer walks her water buffalo on a quiet rural road every morning in north east Thailand.
This is the scene every morning as this farmer was her water buffalo past the house where I am staying in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. It is a very relaxing scene, the only sounds are those of wild birds, roosters and the bells from the water buffalo. Every morning around 10am she walks the water buffalo to a field and stays with them all day. In the evening she returns home around 5:30pm. There are a few other farmers in the area which have the same routine. This is a tradition which will die out soon as the current you generation have no interest in such a lifestyle.
