A bizarre video has emerged of a man putting poisonous frogs in his mouth.

The footage, shot on Monday in Jacundá, Brazil, shows Arteval Duarte holding three small poisonous frogs in his mouth for a few seconds before letting them escape.

Duarte, who goes by the name "Ninja of Serpents", regularly handles dangerous Amazonian animals to raise awareness about local wildlife and deforestation.

"The frogs are not deadly to humans" he later added online.
