Two dead in Russia as hang-glider flies madly, rotates and then falls to ground

Two people died after their hang-glider suddenly fell to the ground and caught fire in the Maykop region of Adygeya, Russia, on October 30.

Footage shows the hang-glider flying madly, rotating, and then losing altitude, as people shout in fear.

The victims are a Russian tourist, Anna Kozyreva, from Rostov-on-Don, born in 1979, and her pilot and resident of Adygea, born in 1974. The identity of the second victim hasn't been revealed.

The tragedy occurred at about 11 am near highway st. Dakhovskaya, Lago-Naki plateau.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the pilot didn't have any permission or license to fly the vehicle or provide hang gliding services.
