This is the moment a bizarre bug with dozens of legs skittered across a man's arm.

The creature, believed to be a house centipede, was found by Sun Guocheng carried in his home in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on May 15.

It crept across his arms and legs and even clung to him even as he turned it upside down.

He said: 'It looked like a centipede with long legs. It did not even bite me.'

The house centipede typically grows between 1 to 1.4 inches in length and sprouts up to 15 legs. Despite its alarming appearance, it is not dangerous to humans and is actually known to prey on pests such as mosquitoes and flies.
