A woman with a striking resemblance to Kim Kardashian says she is "fed up" of people comparing her to the reality TV star.

Sonya Sed is regularly told she could be Kim's "twin", getting stopped by strangers every day in Los Angeles, California, where she lives.

Like Kim, the 34-year-old has a dedicated audience of fans with over 350,000 followers on TikTok, her own business and is a mum, too.

People first started comparing Sonya to the billionaire when she was just 20 years old, a year after E!'s hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired.

"I don’t see it myself at all," the mum told NeedToKnow.Online.

"[The first time was when] I was driving.

"I rolled my [tinted] window down a little and everyone on the freeway started recording me and waving, thinking I was her.

"It was then that I was like.. wait.. they think I’m Kim. My sister was also with me.

"I was a little shocked because I don’t see much of a resemblance myself but everyone says I look like young Kim!"

As the years went on – and Kim's fame escalated – Sonya began to get noticed more and more, as strangers came up to her on the street asking if they were "twin sisters".

In 2022, she gets approached "daily".

Although Sonya isn't "surprised" anymore, she is tired of people "assuming I'm trying to look like her on purpose".

She said: "I've noticed people take photos [of me] but they have never come up to me and asked for it [an autograph].

"I get fed up that people 'assume' I’m trying to look like her on purpose when really this is just my growing face and I can’t help the shape of my eyes and face."

When asked further about negative aspects of looking like a Hollywood A-lister, Sonya said: "Ever since my rise on TikTok I feel it’s starting to have a more negative effect.

"... I get a lot of comments like.. be yourself, stop trying so hard to be Kim K, you even try to talk and sound like her (which is just a normal Valley accent), wanna be Kim.

"These have definitely been negative since I don’t claim to look like her and I am definitely not trying."

As for advantages of being a Kardashian lookalike, Sonya claims there aren't any – not that she has experienced, anyway.

However, she would happily hear from Kim, if the opportunity presented itself.

When asked if she thinks the star is aware of her lookalike, she added: "That would be soooooo cool. Kim call me."[sic]
