Talented schoolboy shows off his amazing beatboxing skills
A talented schoolboy showed off his impressive hip-hop beatboxing skills.
Footage shows Purinat Rinkluen, 17, imitating the sounds of beats and bass using only his mouth at a school fair in Surat Thani province, Thailand, on December 22.
The fifth-grader was resting by the bike shed with friends when he entertained them with his self-taught street music skills.
Classmate Thunthorn Pattan said: ‘He is excellent and talented. Some of the school staff also stopped by to watch him. We are so proud of our friend.
'He learned it by himself just from listening to music.'
Beatboxing is a kind of vocal percussion that replicates the sound of drums. It originates from the 19th century but exploded in popularity along with hip-hop in the U.S. 'hoods' in the 1980s.
