When you 'accidentally' send Santa your food shopping list instead of your son's Christmas wish list
All Thom Whitchurch wanted for Christmas (2022) was to pull a dad joke on his son, and that was exactly what he did.
This video shows Thom's son opening his presents on Christmas day and getting befuddled after unwrapping every item.
As per the filmer, the odd gift choice wasn't a mistake or a coincidence. He was the one who put those gifts under the tree!
"A week before Christmas, I told my six-year-old son that I had ‘maybe’ accidentally sent Father Christmas my Tesco food shopping list instead of his Christmas present wish list," Thom told WooGlobe. "So, I wrapped up some food items from the cupboard and put them under the tree, along with his other proper presents.
"He opened his presents and found a tin of tuna, a tin of baked beans, lime, and some cheese."
The viewers in the comments hailed the boy for not losing his cool, but the filmer later clarified that he had made sure in advance that his mood didn't get ruined.
"He got all of the other presents that he wanted, so he took it really well and found it really funny," he added.
