K-Pop girl group BlackPink had massive posters on the national stadium to promote their world tour concert in Thailand.

Footage shows the 60ft-tall materials for the Born Pink World Tour with pictures of the four members hanging at the entrance of the Supachalasai Stadium in Bangkok today, January 6.

However, some fans have expressed their embarrassment over the shabbiness of the venue as the old and retro-looking stadium contradicted the modern posters of the beautiful young girls coming to perform.

One of their Thai fans said: ‘I'm not sure what to wear to the concert. Do I try to look pretty or wear a tracksuit to match the location's vibe? It's so old and dry.'

Supachalasai National Stadium was used as a venue for the former King of Pop concert Michael Jackson 30 years ago for the Dangerous Asia Tour from August 24 to 25, 1993.

The sports complex construction started in 1937 in the area where the Thai Windsor Palace was demolished in 1935 in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok.
