Vietnam has Kitchen guardians day at the end of the year, according to the Vietnamese New Year. On this day, families buy carp and bring them back to worship and then release them into rivers and lakes in the wild. It can be easier to understand that the whole country is freed by carp.
Many people choose to release fish into the lake, many choose to release it into the river. The Red River is the place to be released the most, thousands of families will come here to release fish. In the past, they threw fish from Long Bien bridge into the river, but now there is a volunteer team to support. Normally, each family releases 3-5 fish, but many families drop 10-20kg, the fish in the bag does not have oxygen, so it has not come out of the plastic bag and has suffocated.
Dropping plastic bags, dropping worship items causes the river to become polluted, and garbage is left along the banks of the Red River.
