A pedestrian shocked drivers when he was seen wandering along a road while completely naked in Thailand.

The unclothed man ambled across the tarmac with his privates on full display in Khon Kaen province on January 8.

Baffled motorist Treethep Kiatpakorn, 36, was passing through the area when he spotted the troubled villager going on a rampage unprovoked.

As Treethep moved his car closer to record a video, the man kicked over a farmer's motorcycle parked on the roadside and began throwing rubbish towards approaching drivers.

He then swaggered onto the middle of the highway and walked back and forth, unmindful of the oncoming cars.

A police vehicle arrived before long to bring the individual into custody.

Carrying riot shields and U-shaped prongs, they subdued the troublemaker, who did not resist arrest and obediently lay prone on the yellow lane divider.

The cops covered his lower half with a cloth and bundled him into their car. He is currently detained at the police station while investigators are finding his identity and family.

Shocked Treethep said: ‘I was only admiring the scenery after a workout session. I did not expect to see a butt-naked person roaming around.

'It was so difficult to look at somebody naked like that, so they put a cloth over his private parts while he was being sent to the police station.'

Police said they interrogated the man, who claimed he was from Khon Kaen province. They remanded him in custody while they contacted his relatives to take him home.
