This footage was filmed and produced 15 January 2023.

The video shows Anti-Bukele marching as people and war veterans protesting the government’s policies as well as commemorating the 32st anniversary of the signings of the peace accords in San Salvador, El Salvador on January 15.

Translation of the interview:
[0:01-1:00]
– We are upset with Mr. Bukele because he eliminated the law of the fund or protection of the wounded and handicapped which was a mandate from the peace accords.

We are upset because there are 19,000 wounded vets who have been left helpless, precisely because, this Mr. Bukele wants to erase history just because he did not live during those times and the Salvadoran peoples will not allow him to do it, the peace accords are a Salvadoran heritage not his, therefore he cannot be dismantling all those things the peace accords placed. Now, he wants to destroy the last interlock of the peace accords in the issue of democracy
