A road in Westerdale, North Yorkshire, has been left blocked by an overturned car that lost control on the icy stretch.

Footage from January 19 shows the car left in the middle of the road with a police car parked on the roadside.

According to Colin Grice, the filmer: "The police car in attendance was also unable to safely go up or down so that vehicle was left in access road alongside.

"Nobody seems to have been injured."

The accident happened two days prior on January 17.
