This woman captured the shocking moment the ceiling in her flat collapsed in on itself. 

Stephanie Lawson, 23, was at her home in Glasgow on the 5th of January, when she noticed that part of her ceiling had begun to fall onto the carpet.

She whipped out her phone to capture what was happening and moments later the whole ceiling caved in, much to Stephanie’s shock. 

Stephanie said: “So there had been issues with the ceiling for some time, there was already a small hole there which my landlord had not managed to get fixed, so the cracks got worse.

“I heard pieces falling onto the carpet and into the paper covering the previous hole, so I started to record, and then it all caved in.

“Obviously I was in shock, I did not expect to film the whole ceiling falling down, as you can hear in the video. Lots of people have found it hilarious, which I can agree on now, but most have found it shocking of course.

“The hole in the ceiling has now just been covered over again but I’m still waiting for it to be fixed.”
