Severe Thunderstorm/Torrential Rain and Lightning - July 3, 2014
As the first Mid-Atlantic heatwave of the summer of 2014 came to an end, dangerous severe thunderstorms developed and produced heavy rain, strong wind gusts, and hail in parts of the DC/Baltimore region, knocking out power to tens of thousands of customers. This video was recorded as the storms passed over Frederick, Maryland with an incredible amount of lightning strikes.
