Student Pranks Gullible Friend With Fake Emergency Broadcast Message
Uploaded by a Newsflare content partner
A student successfully pranked her friend with a fake nuclear emergency broadcast, with her believing they were in imminent danger.
20-year-old Francesca Courtney was at her flat in Birmingham, when she decided to prank her friend, 21-year-old Ellie Coleman, with a fake nuclear warning message on November 1.
Francesca called Ellie in and stated that they were ‘under attack’ and at first she seemed a little dubious before the panic began setting in.
Ellie can be heard worrying about how ‘I have a spray tan at four’, with Francesca calmly stating she would have to cancel it.
She began pacing the room before calling their other friend to come and see the message and panicking about her lack of life insurance as an emotional Ellie began crying.
After a couple of minutes, Francesca finally revealed it was all a prank and a frustrated Ellie stormed off in the video which has since gone viral online with over 1.1 million views.
Francesca said: “I am pranking my friend Ellie with a nuclear warning and I thought it was really funny.
“Many people couldn’t believe she believed it and thought she was stupid.”
