Digital marketing manager Kathryn Leech, 26, from Manchester, decided to try buying a weeks worth of food on a £7 budget.
Kathryn's experiment attracted many views and comments, with people expressing their views on whether it would be a sustainable and healthy way to live.
Many agreed that you aren't able to get enough nutrients on that amount of money, which Kathryn agreed with.
Kathryn explained: "It was an experiment to see if it’s possible to live on a small food budget in light of the cost of living crisis.
"In conclusion it’s not easy and not healthy, the problem isn’t about budgeting it’s that everything is getting too expensive for normal people to live comfortably now".
