ITV's News Editor Emma Burrows recalls a shock that Western journalists had in Moscow on the 24 February 2022 at the start of a major escalation of Russia-Ukraine conflict that started in 2014. It was the very first time that I really felt fear in Moscow ... people were so afraid of speaking out after the 24th of February ... You are limited in your access to people as a foreign journalist and that makes it very hard, especially from a television perspective, to report from the country where noone wants to talk to you, - Emma Burrows said. The panel discussion at the Frontline Club was led by James Rodgers, former BBC Moscow correspondent and was joined by Emma Burrows, news editor at ITV News, Marc Bennetts, Moscow correspondent in exile for The Times, and Olga Ivshina, a senior Russian correspondent at the BBC.
