A woman who lost both arms and one leg in an accident has become an inspiration to others by working as an online fitness star.

Victoria Salcedo, 26, from the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador, needed three of her limbs amputating when she was only six- years-old after suffering third-degree burns.

She had been playing with friends when she accidentally touched an electrical wire with a stick at her home in 2001.

Surgeons could salvage only one leg, but the others had to be removed due to the severity of her injuries.

Growing up, Victoria has had to rely on her right leg - which she affectionately calls her 'magic leg' - to do her daily tasks such as eating, applying makeup, and even ironing her hair.

She was eventually fitted with a prosthesis and is now able to walk, even taking up physically demanding hobbies like free-diving in her spare time.

At age 19, Victoria was scouted to become a model, launching her professional career on the runway. With her mum's support, Victoria even joined the Miss Ecuador pageant in 2021.

Victoria said: 'I didn't go there to be accepted. I went there to represent my country, to represent myself as a woman, to represent myself as a soul being, as another form of beauty.'

As she began documenting her life on social media, she amassed a considerable following, inspired by the bravery she has shown despite her condition.

Today, Victoria works as a model-influencer, regularly showing off her fabulous figure to motivate other people to achieve the same.

She said: 'I love to share my experiences with other people. I use what I've lived through, what I've learnt, and I share that.

'To me, inspiring others is an opportunity to change people's minds. It is a chance to share part of myself with others.

'I never thought I'd be an influential person for other people. I like to share my life with others. I like people writing to me and asking me questions, for them to know that they can count on me.'
