This is the heart-stopping moment a student miraculously survived being run over by a truck while riding a bicycle.

Surveillance footage shows the schoolboy crossing the junction in Bangkok on January 18 at 4:05 pm local time, with the 10-wheeler knocking him down.

Since the boy was in the truck's blind spot, the vehicle proceeded to turn left, crushing the bicycle under its wheels.

The quick-thinking managed to brake moments before the boy could be trampled.

Shockingly, the youngster emerged from underneath still alive, and limped away towards safety.

Concerned motorists and the truck driver stopped in the middle of the road to check on his condition.

He escaped with his life, but the accident had severely damaged his bike.
