This is big news in Peru and for tourists coming to Peru. The protests started in December and are still going on. Some protesters have been killed by police or soldiers, but not at the protests that I saw. They were all peaceful. My other video with a similar name was filmed on 14 January 2023 starting in the morning around 9:00 am. I have more than 20-minutes un-posted and not uploaded video total of that march with several hundred people in it,
Machu Picchu has been closed on and off since the protests started, some airports have been closed, and there are roadblocks on many roads put in place by the protesters.
