A helpful meerkat lovingly brushed her owner's hair.

Footage shows the 10inch-long mongoose named Sally using her tiny limbs to comb through a man's strands in Chonburi province, Thailand on February 19.

From time to time, the sweet two-month-old creature was seen burying her head in the locks of hair.

She then went to curiously check on the pet owner's ear before the tiny animal was carried and given a kiss on the stomach.

Pet owner Jitnapa Petchmak said: ‘At that time, we were resting in the bedroom. My girlfriend was watching us from the other side of the bed.

‘Sally was playing hairdresser in the salon. We were confused about what she was doing but maybe she saw my girlfriend comb my fair with her hands before.'

Meerkats are small mongooses native to Southern Africa. They are omnivorous mammals that mainly eat insects, fruits, birds, eggs, and lizards.
