High diver walks on a 27m diving platform in the wind in Fort Lauderdale.
As professional high divers at the swimming hall of fame pool, we went up to assess weather conditions on the 27m platform as the weather at sea level wasn’t nearly as windy. The 27m in Fort Lauderdale is the 3rd in the WORLD of its kind. It is designed specifically for high diving, not normal diving (it is almost 3x as high). Divers enter feet first only. The conditions were very windy this day, so I recorded what it was like! Sometimes competitions take place in very windy conditions.
