Adventurous tourists jumped across a burning skipping rope at the notorious Thai Full Moon party.

Footage shows the holidaymakers hopping on the hot rope being swung by two locals in Koh Pangan island, Thailand on January 10.

Onlooker Joy said the tourists were drunk so they wouldn't complain of their burns until later in the morning.

She said: ‘The food vendors told us we would regret not jumping the rope, but at least we didn't get singed by the hot ropes.'

This year, the Thai island will hold 13 Full Moon parties from February to December.

The all-night beach party attracts tourists from different countries. Aside from the fire skipping ropes, a lot of drinking and dancing happens at the event.
