Japan was forced to hit the self-destruct button on its new H3 rocket after a failed launch on March 7.

Footage shows the rocket taking off at Tanegashima Space Center at around 10:37 am but the second-stage engine failed to ignite. This caused the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency to send a self-destruct signal to H3 and ended the mission.
