Palestinian protesters burn tires and hurl stones toward Israeli forces during a demonstration in the village of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank on Friday (March 10), against the establishment of Israeli outposts on their lands.

Prior to the clashes, Palestinians performed the weekly Friday prayer outdoors in the village before they started the march in protest of the illegal Israeli settlement activities and confiscation of Palestinian land. The march later developed into a clash with the Israeli occupation army.

Over the past two years, Palestinians have held weekly protests in the village as well as in many other areas in the West Bank, against Israel's ongoing theft of Palestinian land for the benefit of the colonial Israeli settlement construction and expansion.
