This is the heartwarming moment a toddler threw away a toy he was holding just so he could hold his mum's hand.

Christel was filming her son walking out of a shop in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, with a cuddly toy in one hand and his dad's hand in the other.

Upon spotting his mum, Jaxon immediately throws the toy into his pushchair and calls out for his "mama" to hold his hand.

Jaxon's mum told Newsflare: "He doesn't usually let his parents hold his hands while walking and unexpectedly throws his favourite stuffed toy to reach and hold his mum’s hand."
