The Austrian Salzburg football fans are passionate, so much so that the ultras section showed their support during an under-seven's game with flares and loud chanting.

Director of Youth Football at the club, Sascha Gasthuber, was there to capture the incredible scenes as over a thousand fans were in attendance for the youngster's game against SV Grödig at the Max Aicher Stadion, Salzburg.

Smoke and flares were set alight as the children play their game on the pitch with the fans in the stand in what was a fantastic show of support.

Sascha said: "It was absolutely emotional for the kids during the game - even afterwards they celebrate together with the supporters.

"It was amazing, I've never seen any youth game like this."
