A toddler's head was stuck inside a suitcase handle before his father easily lifted it off.

The four-year-old Ikkyu Phumwattanarungroj was playing with his favourite trolley bag in the living room when he was heard crying by his family in Ayutthaya province, Thailand on March 28.

Ikkyu's sister rushed to check on the panicked boy and found him with the anime character bag around his neck.

Footage shows the toddler struggling to push the object off his head. His sister calmed him down and looked for something to cut the handles.

However, the family was left amused with the kid when their father arrived to help and took the bag off within seconds.

Father Phuwarin Phumwattanarungroj said: ‘The strangest things happen when you have children. He will definitely not do it again.'
