Videographer captures moment Venus gradually fades behind Swiss Alps
A videographer in Vetroz, Switzerland, captured the moment a brightly-shining Venus faded away behind the Alps.
Newsflare member Kilpsi said: "Here we see Venus setting behind a mountain in Switzerland.
"It is interesting to observe how Venus gradually fades away. A star would disappear in the blink of an eye, instantly. But because Venus is rather close and thus appears not just as a dot but as a disc, it takes a few seconds to entirely set, hence the progressive fading."
This clip was filmed over the course of April 3 and 4.
