Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration, the demand for cattle increases. This is related to the tradition of slaughtering sacrificial animals for Muslims during Eid al-Fitr as a form of worship to God.
At the Imogiri traditional livestock market, livestock sales and purchases have begun to increase, especially the two weeks leading up to Idul Fitri. Likewise the price of cattle also rose.
